Websites for Canadian small business
I'm Joe. I build fast, plain-spoken websites for Canadian trades, clinics and professional firms — the kind of business where one phone call is worth thousands, and the website is the first thing a customer judges.
Loads on rural mobile data, not just office wifi.
Google's own performance score, on a phone.
Readable at 60 with the text size turned up.
Start to live, not counting your feedback.
How I work
Most studios sell you a plan and a mockup. I'd rather show you the real thing. Before we talk money, I rebuild your homepage and send you a link to it — working, on your phone, with your own business on it.
If it's better than what you have, we talk. If it isn't, you've lost nothing and you keep the link.
Everything I write about your business comes from you or from your existing site. I don't invent awards, review counts, founding dates or certifications to fill space. You'll know immediately whether it's true, and a page that lies to you is worth less than no page at all.
Pricing
One page, done properly. Services, contact, and a form that reaches you. For businesses that mainly need to look real and be reachable.
Four to six pages, service breakdowns, a gallery of your own work, and location pages if you cover several towns.
Everything above, plus booking or quote flows, and custom motion built for your business rather than pulled off a shelf.
Optional upkeep is $99/month — hosting, updates, backups and changes when you need them. No contract; stop whenever you like. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude tax.
Who you'd be working with
There's no account manager and no team to be handed off to. You talk to me, I build it, and if something breaks at seven on a Friday you email me directly.
I work from Vancouver with clients across Canada. Most of my work happens over email and a couple of calls, which suits people who are on a job site or with patients most of the day.
