When you should just use Squarespace

If you enjoy it, have the time and want to change things whenever you like, use a builder. Paying someone else is a waste.

Same if the business is brand new: spend $20 a month, prove it works, then commission something properly.

What actually goes wrong with DIY sites

Rarely the design. It stops being updated: wrong hours, two-year-old prices, a last post from 2023.

Then mobile. Templates look good on a laptop and awkward on a phone, where nearly all local customers are.
