An AI receptionist for salons, so you never put the scissors down
The phone rings mid-cut and the client in the chair is watching. It answers, so you keep cutting.
An AI receptionist answers your salon or barbershop line while you are with a client. It answers what you have given it, such as hours, prices and how long a service takes, sends a booking link showing your real hours, and texts you anything it cannot handle. Droom’s is $449 a month with no setup fee, with 300 answered minutes, missed-call texts, appointment reminders, Google review requests and a five-page website included.
The client in the chair comes first
A stylist with foils in someone’s hair cannot pick up, and stopping a cut to take a call is rude to the person paying. So the phone rings out, and the caller who wanted a Saturday slot books somewhere else. The receptionist takes that call while you keep working.
The same five questions all day
Are you open Sunday? How much is a skin fade? How long does colour take? Do you take walk-ins? Can I come at four? Give the receptionist your answers once, with price and length beside each service, and it gives the same answer every time. Callers who want to book get a link showing your real hours, so they pick a slot and nobody phones anybody back.
Empty chairs and no-shows
- Reminders go out the day before and that morning, in wording you approve.
- A missed call gets a text within seconds asking what they need.
- The morning after an appointment, the client gets your Google review link.
The plan does not text old clients to win them back. If you want regulars rewarded for coming back, that is the loyalty program, a separate plan.
If you already use a booking app
Many salon booking tools already send reminders. If yours does and you have switched it on, you do not need to pay for that twice, and Droom will say so. The receptionist does not connect to your booking software as part of the plan. A link into software you already run is a separate build, quoted in writing.
The price
$449 a month, no setup fee of any amount, month to month. 300 answered minutes are included, roughly a hundred calls, and 50 cents a minute past that. A five-page website with the assistant on it comes with the plan, yours free after twelve months paid or $1,000 earlier. A walk-in barbershop that rarely gets a phone call will not get $449 of value from it.
Questions people ask before they hire
Can an AI receptionist book appointments for my salon?
It sends callers a booking link showing your real hours, so they pick their own slot. It does not connect to an existing booking app unless that is quoted as a separate build.
Will it know my prices?
It knows the ones you give it, with how long each service takes, and gives the same answer on every call.
Does it send reminders?
Yes, the day before and that morning. If your booking app already does that, you do not need it twice.
Will clients know it is not a person?
Some will. It sounds natural and never claims to be human when asked. Ring 778-504-7535 and judge for yourself.
Ring it between clients
Call 778-504-7535 at any hour and Donna, Droom’s own AI receptionist, answers. Ask what a cut costs and hear how she copes.
